Support Adrenals to Reduce Menopause Symptoms

Did you know the adrenal glands are super important during menopausal years in females? Menopause occurs when a woman stops having her menstrual cycle for 12 consecutive months. As a woman transitions into menopause, the production of estrogen from the ovaries decreases.

This can produce many unpleasant symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, depression, fatigue, anxiety, sleep disorders, decreased libido, and forgetfulness to name a few. This is the stage of life where women are commonly put on anti-depressant medication or hormone replacement therapy.

The big key at this stage is to support the body’s own production of hormones. This is best accomplished by supporting the strength and vitality of the adrenal glands. As the ovarian function wanes, the body shifts hormone production more to the adrenal glands. The problem comes when the adrenal glands many times are compromised and dysfunctional from years of chronic stress.

Therefore, in order to reduce menopausal symptoms, it is important to reduce stress and support the adrenal glands without targeted herbal therapy and proteomorphogens. This approach supports the body’s own production of hormones without having to rely on outside sources. This is a much safer and better long-term strategy than taking outside sources of hormones.

Taking outside sources basically discourages production by your body and over time will lessen production. This will ensure long-term dependence on these outside sources of hormones. Women are also never told that outside sources of hormones produced in a lab are never as good as the real deal your body creates. Outside sources of hormones should only be used in certain instances and only for short durations of time. In most cases they are unnecessary when the right approach is taken.
