Did you know patient satisfaction is a statistic we evaluate? Patient satisfaction is driven by how well they respond to care and how they perceive their experience while in the office. It is driven by professionalism, attention to detail, and the relationship created between the doctor, staff, and patient. We strive to have a high rate of patient satisfaction.
A recent study of 167 spinal decompression patients showed just over 90% were satisfied with their care and response to treatment. That is a very high rate. Interestingly, the decompression protocol used in this study is the same one we use in our clinic. The patients in this study had chronic neck or back pain mostly due to disc problems in the spine. Only 14 total patients were not satisfied with the results of their care.
