Did You Know Series

  1. Each month Dr. Kyle writes two “Did You Know” newsletters. These are sent to patients and posted on the website on the 1st and 15th of each month. You may need to do some minor editing.
  2. E-mail: Log in to ReviewWave. Under the Contacts drop down menu, click on Send Bulk Message. Set the Delivery Method as Send email only. Where it says Recipient Criteria, select Past Appointment. Set start date as 4-1-2000. Enter the Email Subject. In the Email message area, click and drag the Text square into the blue box. Type the newsletter or copy and paste it from Word or e-mail. When the newsletter is ready, click Preview. Scroll all the way down then click Send Later. Set date and time and schedule.
  3. Website: Log in to redrockchiro.com/wp-admin. On the left side menu, click on Posts > Add New Post. Add a post title. You can choose to Use Standard Editor for this. Type the newsletter or copy and paste it from Word or e-mail. Sometimes the formatting can get off with copy and pasting, so you may need to retype it. After the wording is ready, click outside the content block to bring up the right side menu. At the bottom right, click on the gray Set featured image box. You can use an existing image from the media library or upload a new one. Once you click on an image to select it, you need to make sure something is typed in the Alt Text, Title and Description sections for website accessibility purposes. Click Set featured image. Back in the right side menu, where it says publish change from Immediately to the date in the future you would like it to post. Click the blue Schedule button at the top right of the screen. Confirm that your posting settings are how you would like them to be then click Schedule. When you are back in the list of posts, scroll down to find the post and click on Quick Edit. You will need to add a Title tag and Meta description (look at previous DYK posts for ideas of what to put here).
  4. Print a copy of the newsletter (either typed in Word or from email if no edits needed) and put in the marketing binder.
